Bruce Bolden joined the West Sydney Razorbacks in 1999 having already played 12 seasons in the NBL. Bolden may well have been past his prime but provided much needed leadership to the start-up franchise. In ’99 he was named the NBL's best sixth man award and averaged 16 points and 6 boards while shooting 56% from the field.
